Shadow puppets and collage is fun. Elephants, animals and dolls, (OH my)

I love doing crafts programs along with one of my favorite partners in fun, Aimee Leonhard,  I finally got to do one , a collage program!
We did several different collage crafts, including these.

I loved making the patterns for these puppets simple rod puppets
The kiddos were extremely creative with paper but these are from my own poor skills.

We also did dolls that stand up on their own.  I have this one on her back .  It was easier to get the picture.

We recently enjoyed a rendition of

I love the crafts

Most blogs about story times will have a dozen different books to recommend.  I too have a multitude of favorites but I would rather like to share my own story time crafts with the world and let you pick the book to go with them.
It is my thought that doing crafts often assists the children in remembering the stories.
  Also I love doing these crafts with them.  Kids are so darned creative.
So I am keeping a slow record of what was successful and fun.
